Building a Healthier Workforce: How Power Wellness Elevated Engagement

The Challenge 

Power Wellness sought to improve engagement across its workforce while fostering clear communication and increasing participation in their engagement survey. Previous efforts had delivered promising results, but they aimed to elevate these outcomes in 2024 by leveraging new tools and strategies. 

The Solution 

With a renewed focus on enhancing communication and participation, Power Wellness incorporated the following items into their engagement survey strategy: 

  • Clear and accessible communication about the survey process, and incorporated email and text invitations to the survey to help drive participation. 
  • Empowered leaders to get involved in the action planning process and take action on data specific to their centers. 
  • Established company-wide committees focused on communication, well-being, and career development. 

Results 

Power Wellness achieved several significant milestones with their 2024 engagement survey: 

  • Increased Participation: Participation rose by 4% compared to the previous survey, with 14 centers meeting their ambitious 70% participation goal. 
  • Improved Engagement: Overall engagement scores showed measurable improvement, reflecting the work Power Wellness has done in the past and the employees’ appreciation for the renewed focus on their needs and concerns 
  • Action-Oriented Leadership: Leaders embraced the training and tools provided by People Element, ensuring that each center was prepared to implement actionable plans based on survey insights.
